(This is why I always take the week before the con off from work >_> )
For Artisan, most of the props are assembled - toolbelts, mask, equipment - although I'm going to need to find stand-ins for the actual con (I somehow doubt they'll be okay with me bringing in scalpels and scissors when CTcon staff once asked me to peacebind my guitar and...true story...cake. How do you peacebind a cake? WHY would you?
The coat is still WIP, due mostly to having troubles finding an appropriate pattern for it (the rest is me being lazy). Once that's sewn, I need to chop up some unfortunate model skeleton to construct all the armor.
That's the part I'm looking forward to, actually.
For other cosplays, I think I'll be going with Vinyl Scratch after all, since it'll be fairly easy to put together. Instead of doing a fiber wig for her, I'm considering doing something more like a cyber-crin piece. Opinions?
